And for fear of him, the guards were struck with terror, and became as dead men.(Matthew 28:4)
God is working now to confound those who would keep us from the crucified and risen Christ. Seek Him, glorify Him, come before Him in humility and devotion, and the enforcers of unbelief will be proven powerless; all the vain barriers they have erected against the Lord will be rolled away.

So you also outwardly indeed appear to men just; but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity. (Matthew 23:28)
What greater hypocrisy can there be, than to claim to be a person of the spirit, but to recognize only material reality? Such people, if they inwardly affirm God at all and not merely as public performance, believe in him only as an abstraction from physical things, and bend all of their thoughts to the cares of this world. This spiritual decay leads only to death.

But after I shall be risen again, I will go before you into Galilee. (Matthew 26:32)
The Lord will not leave us in sorrow nor will he abandon us. Further, we will find him in the familiar territory of sound doctrine, of sound devotion, of sound practice- in short, in the Church which he founded- and not in far-flung exotic meanderings.
