Lucky Cow: Operation Yvonne Called Off

Yvonne the Runaway German Cow, who captured freedom loving hearts the world over by escaping from her pen days before slaughter and absconding to the woods, has her safety assured at last. Local authorities have called off the full-scale search for Yvonne that has dragged on for fruitless weeks, and cancelled a shoot-to-kill order which had been imposed out of concern for traffic safety. Yvonne has eluded all attempts to corral her, foraging for food in the night and keeping under cover during the day. Congratulations, Yvonne, roam in peace!
