Massive bomb blast hits UN building in Nigeria

A suicide bomber struck the UN compound in Abuja, Nigeria today.  Ten are confirmed dead, but it is feared the death toll will rise significantly. The explosion was caused by a car bomb which was detonated after a man rammed the car through the first series of gates surrounding the complex.  A self-described spokesman for the Islamist group Boko Haram has claimed responsibility for the attack.
