Abdul Musavir, 31, his brother Shazad Ali, 30, and their 21-year-old friend Haroon Jahan were mown down by hit and run thugs as they guarded shops and a mosque in Birmingham. Haroon’s distraught dad Tariq said: “He was trying to help his community. I don’t know why innocent people have to die.” Abdul and Shazad’s cousin Sumera Ali added: “They were community heroes.”
