This explosion occurred ten minutes from the home of a friend of mine, who drives by the site daily (luckily not today). Keep Lebanon in your mind as the situation there is unstable and people are living with a great deal of fear at the moment. From Lebanon's Daily Star:
An explosion in a parking lot in the Antelias district north of Beirut Thursday killed two people and wounded one, sources told The Daily Star.
The explosion occurred in a parking lot near Esso gas station on the inner Antelias road, in the Metn province, at 11.30 a.m. local time, security sources told The Daily Star.
