The assassination of revered former prime minister Rafik Hariri (along with 21 others and 200 injured in a massive bomb blast) on February 14, 2004 has roiled Lebanese society ever since. Today, the Special Tribunal for Lebanon released an indictment charging Hizbollah operatives with the crime. It alleges that Hariri was tracked a full three months before his murder was carried out.
