Animal lovers race hunters to track down Yvonne - the runaway cow hiding out in Bavarian forest

She was due to go to a sausage factory nearly three months ago, but Yvonne, a Bavarian cow, made a successful bid for freedom and now there is a £9,000 reward on offer for her safe return.

There has only been one sighting of Yvonne since she went missing from her farm in Zangberg, Germany, when she was in a near miss with a police car.

Now, an order has been issued to hunters to shoot-on-sight, but animal lovers are up in arms and experts from Austria's Gut Aiderbichl sanctuary are trying whatever they can to rescue her unharmed.
