Russian plane crash kills Lokomotiv Yaroslavl ice hockey team

Shock in Russia as plane carrying professional hockey team crashes, killing 43. Lokomotiv Yaroslavl are 3-time champions of the Kontinental Hockey League, the premier domestic league in Russia's national sport. Russian President Dmitry Medveded offered his "deepest condolences to the loved ones of the Yaroslavl air crash victims, and to all Lokomotiv Yaroslavl fans." There are only two survivors of the crash, and both are in a critical state.
