Catholic News Agency: Mexican Catholic website hit by cyber attack

Hackers attacked the Catholic Multimedia Center website in Mexico on September 7, and they knew what they were doing. "[T]hey tried to damage the central memory system by destroying the entire operating system and the contents of the page," Father Omar Sotelo told the Archdiocese of Mexico City's news service. The site, at www.ccm.org.mx, is still down as of this writing.
