AsiaNews: Police in China arrest dozens of underground priests and lay faithful

Chinese authorities continue their repression of the Church, arresting dozens of underground priests and laity in Tianshui (Gansu). The government crackdown aims to prevent the Church from selecting its own bishops, and to intimidate underground Catholics into accepting bishops chosen by the state.
