Boston Herald: Reward money raises hopes for clues in Celina Cass’ death

Police are offering a $30,000 reward for any information that can solve the mysterious death of Celina Cass. Several local residents are expressing skepticism at this development, either doubtful that it will do any good, or offended at the thought that someone with knowledge of what befell the eleven-year-old would only come forward for a monetary reward.

Cass disappeared under suspicious circumstances on July 25th. Her body, wrapped in a blanket, was discovered by police in the Connecticut River on Aug. 1st. Police are awaiting the results of a toxicology test to determine the cause of her death.
