Saint of the Day, August 19: St. John Eudes

St. John Eudes (1601-1680): John was a priest, missionary, and preacher who worked against Jansenism. He founded two religious orders, and wrote the first known book on devotion to the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary.
