Pakistan reels again as killer floods hit homes
Heavy monsoon rains- already 2 1/2 times the average monsoonal rainfall- have inundated southern Pakistan, killing 199, washing away a million homes, and forcing 200,000 to flee into makeshift refugee camps. Overall, 1.66 million hectares of land are submerged under the rising waters, making this the second straight year of catastrophic flooding in Pakistan; last year's floods killed 2,000 and left fully 1/5th of the country under water
