Probe into 'forest boy' Brit links

Here's one you don't see every day: workers at Berlin's City Hall were confronted recently by a boy who walked in announcing that his father had just died, and that the two of them had been living rough in tents and earth huts in a nearby forest for the last five years, after the death of his mother. His story seems to stand up so far. He speaks perfect English but only a few words in German, and is believed to be British. Interpol is helping the German police with their investigation, and the British Foreign Office is following events as well, as authorities try to figure out just who the boy is and what actually happened to his family.
