Aid to the Church in Need: A growing Church in India

Upon its founding in 1997, the Diocese of Asansol numbered around 15,000 Catholics. Today its numbers have nearly doubled, while the number of priests has tripled, reports Aid to the Church in Need in a profile of this growing diocese. "We are a growing Church, and each year around 1000 people find their way to the Faith," says Bishop Cyprian Monis.
