Saint of the Day, September 6: Bl. Claudio Granzotto

Bl. Claudio Granzotto (1900-1947): Claudio was drafted into the Italian army at fifteen, where he served for three years. His artistic abilities, especially in sculpture, led to a degree with honors from the Venice Academy of Fine Arts. Six years later, he entered the Order of Friars Minor. He was known for his life of prayer, his work with the poor, and his artistic skill.
